February 26th Drift Event 1 FRESNO!!!!!!

Hey just letting everyone know we'll be starting out new 2011 season for drift in the SCCA starting on Feb 21 2011 at the Fresno Fairgrounds. This is an event you don't want to miss. If your not an SCCA Member it's 50 bucks all day to drift. If you are a member its $30 dollars to drift all day. No worries about cops, curbs, or collisions since this will be a safe environment. Push your car to it's limits and try out new techniques your still working on. Here's how to become a SCCA member.

Off topic- hey your rocking the BC cams. What stage r u running? Did you notice much of a difference? I'm planning on building up my KA24DE just wanted someone elses opinion. Anyways, let me know

BC 264's I did notice a bit of difference but below 3k it felt sluggish and above 3k it was a nice gain that you could feel.. i REALLY loved the Lope at idle mmmmmmmm

For those who cars that aren't quite ready for drifting you can volunteer for free.

THE MEET IS TONIGHT @ YOSEMITE FALLS CAFE BY ASHLAN & 99 -ish The drift event was scheduled for next weekend (26th) I'm not 100% sure on whether or not it is still goin on.. I have been talking to dante and there have been some problems with some other SCCA guys, a couple got shot,a few gang fights, loss of limbs, that kinda thing lol

But really tho, We need to figure if the even IS on... so if any of you have Dante's # then hit him up and get some details. If you would, post up the info you find out, because i know a few of us are anxious to know whether or not the event is on.

That sucks... I was looking forward to that. Drift event on the one day it snows in Fresno. Haha. This winter back in Minnesota, I was getting very well acquainted with my ebrake in my Mazda Protege. It was plenty of fun on snow ... And plus... if you F up, you crash into a snowbank and drive away! No costly suspension repairs. I had to pull that thing out of so many snowbanks it was ridiculous. Good times.
