weird dash problem

hey guys i just recently put my s14 back to stock regarding intake and header and a new alternator, but now when i go to start my car my battery light and my e-brake light don't turn off like they. My e-brake light just get brighter if i go to engage it. I cheked all the fuses inside and out but all of them checked out. So if you guys could shine some light on my problem please be my guest thanks in advanced.

So you Turn off the car and the lights stay on?

Next Time It happens, undo de E-brake, hit the brakes or both . It will go away.

when i have the car on it does it and i tried hitting the brakes and the ebrake and that did nothing, any more ideas. thanks

i read in another forum that it might be the alternator overcharging the battery but i dont think so cuz it only puts out 13.7 volts at idle cuz of my electric fans. I also read that it might be the connections because i put dielectric grease on the connection so im going to try to clean that out see if that fixes the problem.
