Guess ill introduce myself

Hi everybody and everybody yet to come just wanted to let everybody in on alittle into my 240sx history.
picked up my first hatch about 3 years ago.
here it is on the day i brought it home...




it had a really bad knock so i pulled it out and replaced the bearings(didnt really know to much about engine swaps or 240's for that matter)well that didnt work out to good so i scraped that ka24e and got another one for $180. installed it and it ran like a champ till i wanted more power. so i decided to boost it. was a good ways into my build when i came along a good deal on a rebuilt s14 sr so i said f**k the singleslamer and went jdm, lol.



well got that all installed and it was a blast to drive until,...the #2 piston took a sh*t so out it came again and i had to replace it, put it back in.
as it sits now because i cant seem to figure out why its not getting spark!

Pretty clean hatch you got there. Sucks that the SR blew up..

Check the coil wiring, coil connectors, and the igniter...

Ok so since this is offically a build thread, heres an update. so i THOUGHT the cas was bad, so i got another one *shout out to skyler*. well the cas was not the problem, after much trouble shooting we have come to the conclusion that my wiring harness is fucked. the ground on the cas was bad and we tried a direct ground and i started to get power to the coils with the igntion on but still no spark . so im going to send my harness to the pros and that should fix that(fingers crossed)

But on the up side i ordered some godspeed coils and a short shifter, pics when they get in!!!

little update: sent my main harness of to get fixed, they told me it would take about 2 1/2 weeks to be finished. installed my coilovers(godspeed) and my short shifter. now in the process of removing the sound deadning and gutting the ass end of the hatch. more to come.

Why are you removing the sound deadening?

dont wanna paint over it cus it would look ugly and it will save a little in weight.

What color are you getting?

thinking about painting it white but im not to sure yet. im going to leave the extior the the same color(need to rapaint that too, but that'll come later)
