Clutch pedal braket Empty Clutch pedal braket

I think something broke on the clutch pedal assembly today and my suspicion is that it might be a weld point. Their are no leaks anywhere and the ball nut for the shift fork is a year old. And the pedal feel different. Is this a common problem for the S13 or has anybody had a problem like this?

Fix. Bracket somehow bent. I should have never teach a idiot how to drive a manual trans.
