I bought a new turbo today. I'm gonna pull the motor tomorrow morning to check ALL hoses, ALL gaskets and everything for possible boost leaks. Then i have to put the new turbo on the mani, put the motor back in and run blow through MAF, to see if it heps anything

I got most of it worked out today but it sputters a little bit @ 3600 rpm under a load. Its a blast to drive

I've always wanted to boost my car but seems like you need mucho dinero to go that route. Asides having to buy another turbo, how much have you put down all together?

All together,

Motor 9 k miles $1000 ( but i needed that a WHILE back)

Turbo w/ compressor inlet & otlet/ dump/ actuator, $100
Blitz FMIC with all blitz piping/clamps/couplers, $170
BOV, FREE... Volvo @ J-yard =)

Oil feed tee and line $60
Revhard Log mani $60 shipped.

TOTAL: $400 minus motor.


I made my own downpipe, and i welded the turbo to the mani (came with wrong flange with mani) =/
