PEPE123'S KOUKI BUILD..:{p
HELLO everybody i hope u enjoy this.
ok lets start with a little history. ive wanted an s13 ever since i was 14. my friends uncle had a burgundy s13 hatch with a blown motor i had completely fell in love with.i had very little knowledge about cars! i tried my all to get the $800 he wanted for it but never did get that car. i am now 19 and finally have an s13 i bought of craigslist around October of 2010
i originally wanted to go s13.5 with this car,i had bought metal fenders from some guy in LA and about to buy the s15 headlights when i stumbled upon the Akinori Ito - Break Ito Style 180sx Drift video and this one thing changed the whole plan. i sold the s13.5 fenders as fast as i could.
ok sorry for all the reading if u read it.haha lets start with pics!
thats like 2 minutes before i bought it for $600 non working tranny, blown power window motors, hideous interior and the hatch had to be held open by a broom stick. i was so excited to buy it i was shaking
next day began to primer, kinda wish i hadn't done this.
actually have a pic with the s13.5 fenders on it.
more soon! `

i got my kouki bumper with brackets, lights and extensions about 2 months ago for a little over $700.a lot of money for a bumper but worth it.
about four weeks ago i found a set of kouki rear valences for only $200,being that they are $600 new i jumped on the deal. they where taken off a 180sx in japan and had some scratches but nothing that cant be fixed.
now while i was finding parts, the ka24de was being rebuilt at a local shop,i just got it back about 3 days ago and have been cleaning up the manifolds and other components. aslo the interior is coming along nice too.
about two weeks into having the car i also bought a complete set of skyline rear brakes, rotors, hubs and e brake Assembly from some old dude in the town next to me for $200 flat and he tossed in a sway bar and differential part fopr free! pretty good deal. pics of that later
ill leave u with a pic of the motor of right now.
i also got a new tranny this past weekend at the junkyard.

NICE work man.. I'm gad you are taking your time and doing it right lol
I never have any time to wrk on mine =/ with school and work i have no time at all.
It's nice to see someone around here buildig a car slow and steady with all the right stuff (OEM Kouki parts, in this case)
I buy cheap/broken (but repairable) aero because i know i'll wreck or mess em all up again. lol
Good luck with the build

So your neighbor just had some skyline parts lying around?! Lucky, the only kind of parts I can get off my neighbors would more than likely be John Deere!! Good luck with your build!!

Re: PEPE123'S KOUKI BUILD..:{p
heck ya ima boost it! but ima having trouble getting it running right just like this. ive narrowed it down to either missing ground, injectors or injector wires. i also didn't have my knock sensor grounded. i fixed the vacuum hose to the pvc already. luckily it was the one closest to the firewall so i was barley able to put a new piece on with my hands. i thought i was gunna have to take off the whole intake just for that 2inch hose .POS! well i was testing my injector right now and when i touched the bottom of 1 of my injectors the orange plastic piece broke...so.....FML!
i guess its called the pintle cap. that shizzle broke. but i think i can replace just that

Re: PEPE123'S KOUKI BUILD..:{p
The 2 silver rings are exhaust gaskets that go between your header and stock downpipe.
A few of the black o-rings are injector o-rings.
And I hate to rain on your parade....but that orange o-ring thing with the metal housing goes between the timing cover and the block...and if you didn't install it, then you will blow your shit up. Hopefully that's not the orange o-ring I think it is!
Example...(ignore the question mark on the other side of the picture)
